Devoti Wins Case in MO Supreme Court

On June 10, 2008, the Missouri Supreme court unanimously ruled in Casey & Devoti’s favor in a police chase case resulting in the death of two women. The Supreme Court held that, although the individual police officers involved in the crash are immune from suit, the city that employed them can still be held liable for the police officers’ actions if a jury finds their actions to be negligent.
