Matt Casey to Deliver ‘End Distracted Driving’ Message at Bishop DuBourg High School

Distracted driving is an epidemic in the United States. One in four accidents in the U.S. involve texting and driving.  Every day 11 teenagers die in car accident because they were texting and driving.

These statistics are frightening and underscore the need for more community education regarding distracted driving. Feeling compelled to do something about the distracted driving epidemic, local attorneys Matt Casey and Matt Devoti have partnered with EndDD.org (End Distracted Driving) to become authorized speakers for the ‘End Distracted Driving Student Awareness Program’.  This timely program aims to educate young drivers on the importance of eliminating distractions while driving.

On Thursday, March 30, 2017, Matt Casey will present the program to the students at Bishop DuBourg High School in St. Louis Hills. This interactive presentation is done free of charge and offers the sobering statistics of the current safety crisis, shares true stories of the costs of distracted driving, and offers simple steps that drivers can use immediately to help themselves and others around them End Distracted Driving.
