Spring Shower Event to Benefit Saint Martha’s Hall
St. Martha’s Hall, a St. Louis shelter for abused women and their children, is throwing their annual Spring Shower on Thursday, April 28th at 6:30pm. It will be at the home of a former board member and is an opportunity to connect with supporters of the mission, staff, board members, and volunteers alike. Attendees are asked to bring an item or items from the shelter’s wish list (see below).
This event is an informal, free gathering that provides the shelter with necessary supplies for women and children, often fleeing a violent situation with only what they can carry on their backs. - Umbrellas
- Hair brushes
- Paper towels/napkins
- Swiffer duster refills
- Batteries- AA, AAA, C, D, 9v
- Women’s “Keds” all sizes
- 13 and 55 gallon trash bags
- Reusable water bottles
- Gift cards (Target, Walmart, Schnucks, Walgreens)
